Sculptures
As an Interdisciplinary Artist, I enjoy dabbling in many mediums and to mix mediums together. I was fortunate to receive an education in the arts from Towson University where my professors urged me to push the envelope and explore myself. This page highlights Sculptures that I have made. Some have individual theme to them while others are more directly focused to the Art Activism which I hold dear.
Nature and Light
Here I created 10 concrete pillars that appear to be from a large structure in the past. Nature is slowly taking back what belongs to her. While at the same time I have used light to accent the area during the nighttime.
Nature and Light.
This is the other side of the landscape.

Tension
Here I made two sections of hollow spheres out of concrete and have them connected together. They appear to be pulling apart.
Tension
I have also planted native sunflowers, lavender, and hibiscus inside, creating planters

This is a Mixed Media sculpture symbolizing many wrongs that cultures have inflicted upon other cultures since Ancient Greece.
What's Wrong With Us

The following five photos are of an installation that I have done which is to bring awareness to the wrongs inflicted upon the Black population In the Black Butterfly of Baltimore

Baltimore Black Butterfly Row House Installation
Baltimore is one of the first major cities in America to use redlining. It was enforced so to force the black population in areas while keeping other areas white. The white areas prospered and the city invested in it, while the city did not invest in what would become the black butterfly (the areas form a butterfly on the city map). Thus causing the butterfly to fail. But there is still hope.
Baltimore Black Butterfly Row House Installation
I created a false depth of perception using linear perspective so the inside would appear larger than the structure allows. Also notice the doll at the bottom, what do you think it means?

Here is a close up of the end of the hallway. What do you think it is trying to tell you?
And Now For Something Completely Different
AN ode to Monty Python cast members. Here the piece is displayed on exhibition.
And Now For Something Completely Different
An ode to Monty Python. They, as the troop or individuals, have not been given a star on the Hollywood walk of Fame. Well, I'm giving them one.
And Now For Something Completely Different
In Terry Gilliam's animation, he draws a foot which squishes people. Here the foot is squishing a committee member for the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
And Now For Something Completely Different
The calf of the foot has pieces of ceramics "breaking apart" in symbolism that we are slowly losing the troop members and we have to do something great to honor the troop before we lose them all.
And Now For Something Completely Different
The sculpture is made from low-fire red clay, terra sigilatta, concrete, red iron oxide, black stain, plastic (barbie doll), 3/8" steel rods, pc-7 epoxy.
